Heath Bar Trifle--Another Easy Dessert for a Large Group

 
 
Heath Bar Trifle

Ingredients
  • 1 German Choc. Cake Mix - bake as directied & cool
  • 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 bag Heath Bar Bits
  • 1 bottle caramel ice cream topping
  • 1 large Cool Whip
Directions
  1. Crumble 1/2 cake in the bottom of serving bowl
  2. Pour 1/2 of Eagle Brand milk, 1/2 of Heath bits, and 1/2 of caramel topping onto cake.  (Reserve some Heath bits and carmel topping for top of Cool Whip.)
  3. Spread 1/2 of Cool Whip on top of cake.
  4. Repeat for a second layer of cake, Eagle Brand, Heath bits, caramel topping, and Cool Whip.
  5. Sprinkle reserved Heath bits on top and drizzle with remaining caramel topping.
Notes
  • Single recipe fits in a trifle bowl.
  • Double this recipe for one punch bowl.
  • It usually takes about 3 large cool whips for the punch bowl size.
